Computing

Technology plays an increasingly important role in our lives. At Windrush, we want pupils to become masters of technology. We want to model and educate our pupils on how to use technology positively, responsibly and safely. We want our pupils to be able to be able to critically evaluate content, as well as create their own content. We want our pupils to become effective coders. We foster logical thinking and develop this into coding skills. Our pupils will become skilful computer scientists, able to transfer the skills they have learnt in computing across the curriculum.

We use the curriculum that has been written by TeachComputing to support the planning and teaching of computing. This ensures progression across the school of knowledge and skills.
